Ben Evans, Group Managing Director, COVA Group

Ben joined COVA (then SEMF) in early 2005 and commenced as COVA’s NSW Building Services manager in 2008 before becoming general manager of Building & Property team nationally in 2012. This then led to various director roles, culminating in becoming Group Managing Director in 2015. Ben was largely responsible for the SEMF to COVA rebranding in 2018 and COVA’s expansion in to Asia in 2019.

Retail in Australia has been illuminated by lighting designs, light fixture design and procurement of the lighting by Ben and the COVA team across many of the major roll out projects in the last ten years including National projects for Myer, Kmart, Target, HomeCo just to name a few. Ben has also been responsible for the formation of many of the lessee and lessor services briefs currently used within Australian retail.

Ben has proven experience as a Project Director for major projects across Australia and Asia including the USD800M Pattana Golf Club & Resort (Thailand) and the USD130M Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall (Cambodia).

Ben’s extensive international and national experience affords him due recognition as an expert in project planning, delivery and procurement.
